| Application | for lamination with board. |
| Printing | The coating will enhance the bonding with ink. Polyester side should be laminated with board and coated side should be printed. The advantage of using coated polyester is to avoid oxidesation . As the metalized film contains aluminium and when it will come in contact with moisature it will become oxide. The best printing method is UV. Small qty can be produced on Offset by using polybond ink and paying special attention on drying. Special care should be taken on stacking so that the ink is not transferred. |
Superior Barrier ProtectionPE coated metallised films ensure optimal preservation and product integrity by offering an ultra-low water vapor transmission rate (<1.0 g/m/24hr) and oxygen transmission rate (<5.0 cc/m/24hr). These qualities make them ideal for packaging items sensitive to environmental factors, ensuring freshness and longevity.
Versatile ApplicationDesigned for multiple usesincluding packaging, lamination, decorative purposes, and insulationthese films can withstand various processing methods. Their glossy, high-contrast appearance enhances visual appeal, while custom pattern and printing options support branding and functional requirements.
High Performance & CustomizationWith heat resistance up to 120C, tensile strength exceeding 150 MPa, and customizable width, length, and thickness, these films meet demanding industrial standards. Their softness, flexibility, and washability further enhance usability, serving clients as exporters, manufacturers, and suppliers.
FAQs of PE Coated Metallised films:
Q: How should PE coated metallised films be stored for best performance?
A: It is recommended to store these films in a cool, dry place to maintain their barrier properties and prevent degradation. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity to ensure longevity and consistent performance.
Q: What makes these metallised films suitable for packaging and lamination applications?
A: These films combine moisture and oxygen barrier qualities, heat resistance up to 120C, and excellent tensile strength, making them ideal for packaging and lamination. Their sealability at temperatures between 110C and 130C ensures secure packaging for various products.
Q: When is it beneficial to use these films with customized color or printing?
A: Customized color and printing options are beneficial when branding, product differentiation, or specific decorative effects are required. Options for surface or reverse printing are available on request to help achieve desired marketing or technical objectives.
Q: Where can these metallised films be applied beyond packaging?
A: Beyond packaging, these films are widely used in decorative applications, thermal insulation, and specialized lamination projects. Their glossy finish and customizable patterns make them suitable for both aesthetic and practical uses in several industries.
Q: What is the process used to manufacture these metallised films?
A: These films are produced by multiple extrusion processes, followed by metallisation and PE coating. This manufacturing approach ensures uniform properties, high strength, and a consistent glossy appearance.
Q: How do the barrier properties benefit the end user?
A: The excellent barrier properties minimize water vapor and oxygen transmission, which helps preserve the contents by preventing spoilage, moisture ingress, and oxidation. This ensures extended shelf life and product quality.
